Just yards away from interstate 74, I did not expect this restaurant to be as good as it is. The establishment was clean and the staff friendly. More importantly, the service was quick, the prices economical. Finally, the food was excellent! Breakfast is served all day, while the lunch and dinner menu are diverse. I had the two-egg breakfast while my wife had a hot turkey sandwich served with a fresh salad and freshly baked bread. The turkey was tender and juicy, the mashed potatoes and gravy from scratch (with parsley). I would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling near Bloomington, Illinois.
This was a great place just off the highway. It was so delicious. The family that owns and runs it are very lovely. They work hard to make the customers happy. Everything was very clean and in is place. I wish I lived closer, it would be a regular place for me.
What a gem of a restaurant! The Food was delicious and portions were great, service was fantastic
New to area and glad to have this gem close by. Have only had breakfast which was served quickly and hot. The coffee is perfect. I do not like fancy coffee and this hits the spot but comes in small cups. No worries as service is excellent and they quickly refill but I feel like a nuisance. Pancakes, omelet, scrambled eggs, sausage, ham, biscuits and gravy --all very good. Bacon was a bit on cheaper side with large fatty strip but I know some people prefer that. Price bit high for diner breakfast but I know restaurants are struggling right now.
A great place to eat and enjoy the friendly staff. Food is great!!!! I meet my friends there once a month for breakfast. I have tried to eat something different every time I go.
